Terms of Service

1. The service

Vextore provides a desktop application and related services that let you index your own files and search them semantically. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the files you index. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: to receive, process, and index the files you choose, including processing through our cloud AI providers, and to store the resulting embeddings and metadata. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the files you index. We do not retain your original file contents after indexing.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes. Each plan includes monthly plan credits; unused plan credits reset at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. Extra credits, when available, are used after plan credits and expire two months after purchase or grant. You can cancel anytime from your account page or the Stripe billing portal - your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed afterwards. Prices may change; we will notify you before a price change affects an active subscription.

By starting a subscription you request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that, once you have begun using your monthly plan credits, the EU 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies to that period. If something is wrong with the service, contact support@vextore.com and we will make it right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to process content that is illegal or that you have no right to process;
• attempt to bypass plan limits, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it;
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the paid service entirely we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, intent, or rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
